Akon biography

Akon (April 30, 1973 in Dakar, Senegal; actually: Aliaune Damala Bouga Time Puru Nacka Lu Lu Lu Badara Akon Thiam) is a rapper, R & B musicians and music producer. Even for its reggae and soul music he is known.
He is the son of the famous percussionist and jazz musician Mor Thiam and was born and spent the first years in Senegal. At the age of seven years Akon came with his family to New York in the United States. There, he first came into contact with hip-hop course but after some time in criminal circles, Akon went to jail for 3 yers because of car theft.

The time in prison was the inspiration for his single Locked Up. His talent as a musician was first discovered by his brother, the choreographer Divine Stevens. Akon wanted to get his demo tapes to record companies sent. Finally, he got answer from Street Records Corporation, which Akon a record contract offer. In June 2004, the Senegalese his debut album Trouble. The first single Locked Up reached the Top Ten of the American Billboard charts. With a few months of delay, Akon went in March 2005 in Britain to present Five of the singles charts and was among the 20 best-selling singles in Germany. In May 2005, he and Place 1 of the German and the British singles charts. In the song, he used a modified pitch sample from Mr. Lonely by Bobby Vinton.

Also founded Akon own music label called Konvict Music. In almost all of its songs, the words "Konvict Music", which is a kind of trademark of Akon. ...
